Dublin’s Eoghan O’Gara has been ruled out of the All-Ireland SFC quarter-finals after fracturing his wrist.
The Templeogue/Synge Street man sustained the injury during the first half of the Leinster final victory over Wexford last Sunday.
The forward is now facing up to eight weeks on the sidelines and faces a battle to be fit for selection for the All-Ireland semi-finals should Dublin get that far.
Philly McMahon is also expected to miss the quarter-finals due to his knee injury. The corner back suffered the injury in the victory over Laois and hasn’t featured since.
